Murder They Wrote with Laura Whitmore and Iain Stirling is a new weekly podcast from BBC Radio 5 Live unravelling the stories of history’s most atrocious criminals.

Each episode, true crime connoisseurs, broadcaster Laura Whitmore and comedian Iain Stirling choose a new despicable criminal and tell the story of their outrageous crimes. From murder to blackmail, fraud to kidnapping, and brainwashing to catfishing, the podcast will explore some of the most wicked characters from history.

Laura Whitmore is an established and highly experienced TV presenter and radio broadcaster, known for her roles hosting Love Island, Celebrity Juice, I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now, MTV and much more, as well as her own BBC Radio 5 Live series, The Laura Whitmore Show. She is also the Presenter and Associate Producer of her hugely successful ITV documentary series Laura Whitmore Investigates and launched her own Sunday morning entertainment series on ITV, The Laura Whitmore Breakfast Show. She is also a Sunday Times best selling author after the release of her first book, No One Can Change Your Life Except For You.
Iain Stirling
BAFTA-winning comedian Iain Stirling is best known as the acclaimed voice of the hit reality shows Love Island (ITV2) and spin off series Love Island USA (Peacock). He appeared on series 8 of Taskmaster (C4/Dave), and for seven series hosted ITV2’s comedy entertainment show, Iain Stirling’s CelebAbility. Iain also wrote, created and starred in two series of his own comedy sitcom, Buffering (ITV2) and his first stand-up special Failing Upwards launched on Amazon Prime Video in over 200 countries and territories.
